My Responge to Devils Rule.

My Response to Devils Rule about his Duchene Muscular Dystrophy Disease. Duchene Muscular Dystrophy is a genetic disorder that affects the way that people move and use their skills like jumping. This seems like a very serious genetic disease. And to find that this can happen from teens through age 30 is very scary! I wonder why this disease can spread? It is very odd that this disease can even exist! I find it very interesting that this disease causes fatigue? In my opinion this is a interesting disease. This disease also causes awkward manners of walking, frequent falls, difficulty with motor skills, fatigue, and muscle weakness. I feel very scared because this can happen to anyone anytime. I believe this is one of the very bad diseases.

Stimulus Is Focus in New York

The biggest political matchup in the country right now pits a seasoned Republican lawmaker against an unknown Democrat in one of New York’s most traditionally conservative Congressional districts.National Republican leaders have vowed to make the contest a turning point for their beleaguered party.the $787 billion federal stimulus package — appears to be providing the Democratic newcomer, Scott Murphy, with some traction in the campaign to succeed Senator Kirsten E Gillibrand in the House of Representatives.

This is very interesting.

Cuts for the Imperial Guardian Program for the elderly & disabled

Guardianship Program is a small organization that protects elderly and disabled people who have no one else to act as their legal guardians, has not been around long enough to stand out in the labyrinth of social service agencies and nonprofit groups that work on behalf of the city’s most vulnerable residents. leaving more than 100 people who are served by the program to be transferred to other services, and ending what some advocates viewed as a promising model for revamping the state’s troubled guardianship program. If this Program falls, who will protect the elderly and disabled people?

-in my opinion this is horrible and it is really bad.

Class Response#3

In my science class we are learning alot about Newtons laws. Such as, Gravity, Motion and more. And we are making projects such as skate parks and rollercoasters to prove his theorys. It is a very interesting subject and I feel it is very interesting how Gravity occurs. And i find it interesting how a object such as a ball would be called a fluid. There are 3 laws. And motions, the motions are sliding, rolling, and fluid.

-This is a very interesting and fun subject, i cant wait to learn more.

Warm? In Antarctica?!

Scientists have researched for almost half a century of tempatures on the continent. Some regions of Antarctica, particularly the peninsula that stretches toward South America, have warmed rapidly in recent years. Researchers say that warmth is coming to all 7 continents on the earth even Antarctica. Researchers say that this is due to the green house gasses. Because the climate record is still short, more work needs to be done to determine how much of the warming results from natural climate swings and how much from the warming effects of carbon dioxide released by the burning of fossil fuels, as researcher Dr.Steig says. In West Antarctica at 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit, though temperatures in this area are still well below freezing and the warming will not have an immediate effect on sea level.

In my opinion this is a really interesting fact. I never thought that Antarctica would actaully warm up! Who knows, maybe this place will be a new vacation spot!

Are Some Men More Likely To Have Boys Than Girls Just By Their Family History!?

Researchers are wondering wether men who come from families with plenty of males have higher odds of fathering boys... And if the men had many sisters it would be more likely for a girl. A childs gender is lots of times determined by the father since men cast the deciding chromosome — either an X or a Y — while women produce eggs that carry an X chromosome. Researchers say that men carrying a gene determines wether the child will be a boy or girl and the percentage gets transfered into the sperm.

This is a really interesting theory. Due to my family having alot of boys too! I wonder if this affected what kind of gender i was going to be...
